Checking the System
If your system exhibits errors, or hardware is not functioning properly, first check the
following items:
u
Verify the system’s power state, and ensure the power cable is plugged in properly. See
Chapter 4, “Operating Notes.”
u
The power cords and data cables are properly attached from the base unit to the various
peripherals.
u
For problems with external InterRAID disk arrays, RAID disk drives, or other attached
accessories, refer to the accessory documentation for troubleshooting help.
If these tips do not help resolve your problem, refer to the following sections for more
detailed troubleshooting.
If you cannot resolve the problem or if the instructions direct you to call the Intergraph
Computer Systems Customer Response Center, call 1-800-633-7248. See the Preface of this
document for other information about contacting Intergraph Computer Systems.
When instructed to open the base unit, see the online System Reference delivered with the
system for details on opening the case and working with internal components.
