10 . 9 . 3 Head rest straight
You can adjust the straight head rest on two directions, height and depth� The
procedure is the same as described in chapter
10 � 9 � 2 (Head rest cropped)�
10 . 9 . 4 Head rest holder with conus adjustment
You can adjust any head rest in two ways with the head rest holder with conus
adjustment, in height and in depth�
For height adjustment proceed as follows:

The universal holder for the head rest is affixed to the back of the seat
shell� The procedure is the same as described in chapter
10 � 9 � 2 (Head rest
cropped)�
For depth adjustment proceed as follows:

Open the clamp of the head rest holder by turning the fixing lever anti-
clockwise�

The head rest holder can now be moved�

Hold the head rest in the desired position and turn the fixing lever clock-
wise to fix it�

The position of the head rest remains the same now�

It is now necessary to readjust the head rest upholstery�

Turn the head rest in its fixation spot until the head of the patient rests in
its respective upholstery�
10 . 9 . 5 Head rest uphostery
Three differently shaped head rests that are affixed with the head rest holders
described above are available for the seat shell ORTHOLIGHT� The head rest
upholsteries are:

Standard

Shell shaped

Half roll
The velcro head rest upholstery are not affixed with the head rest holder, but
they are simply attached with the velcro fixation�
Standard, shell shaped, half roll head rest upholstery
These head rest upholsteries are cropped with the head rest holder, straight
or conus, by a screwing mechanism� The basic adjustment of the head rest is
done at the holder�
