The pelvis should be placed as far back into the angle of the seatshell as
possible� Only then an optimal support is possible�
When applying additional fixations, always start from the pelvis� Only when
those sit properly, continue with fixing the upper body and extremities�

Fixing the patient
Body fixations can be done with:
Upper body pressure pads and belt
Pelvis bail and belt
Seating pants
Your personal, local specialist advisor will assist you in the planning of an indi-
vidual solution, taking account of your personal requirements�Please coordinate
with him the correct use of the different fixations� The operation of the fixations
is also described in chapter
10

Back angle adjustment
Important!
The back angle is serially adjusted

a manual continuous back angle
adjustment� In order to change the
back angle, loosen the srews on
the sides with the clamp lever (Pic-

)� Adjust the desired back an-
gle and tighten the screws again�

Seat depth extension
The seat depth of the ORTHOLIGHT
can be optionally extended by a
total of
5
cm� For this, use the

elongated holes on the underside
of the seat (Picture

)� As a result,
you will gain an increase of up to
5
cm in the seat depth� Tighten the
hexagonal socket screw again after reaching the desired position�
