24/96 Multimode Equalizer
SETUP MENU – Real Time Analyzer (RTA)
The Real Time Analyzer (
RTA
) displays the spectral content of an input or output signal. It
is based on a 31-band filter, utilizing 1.3-octave ISO specification over a spectrum of 20Hz
to 20kHz. An RTA-Hold function is provided to sample the analyzed signal; this envelope
can be used as a weighting reference for the
GEQ
module.
There are five active buttons in
RTA
mode:
F1 – ON
Switches
the
RTA
module on or off. Pressing off freezes the last display
screen.
F2 - CH
Toggles
between
CH1
and
CH2
spectrum
F3 – RESET
resets the spectral display.
F5 – MODE
Switches to
MODE
menu for advanced options.
F6 – EXIT
Switches to main
SETUP
menu.
Parameter Window
The
cursor keys can be used to highlight the selected parameter, and the
parameter wheel can be used to change its value. The flashing arrow points to the
currently-selected 1/3 octave filter band.
The following parameters can be viewed and/or adjusted:
FREQ
shows the frequency band monitored in the PEAK field. Can also be
selected with the
cursor keys.
PEAK
displays the peak value of the currently selected frequency band.
OFFSET
sets the upper range of the display over a range of 0 to 144 dBFs, in 1dB
increments.
RANGE
scales the range of the display selected in
OFFSET
between 6 and 144
dBFs, in 1dB increments.
