Fill the decontamination bottle (labeled yellow) with properly prepared Decontamination Solution.
7.
Fill the cleaner bottle (labeled green) with properly prepared Cleaning Solution.
8.
Put 100–200 mL of full-strength bleach in the empty waste bottle.
9.
Close the bottles and place them back in the drawer. Reconnect the fluid lines, matching the color of the
connector to the color of the bottle.
NOTE
Close bottles securely, but do not over-tighten. The iQue screener is a non-
pressurized system.
10.
Carefully close the drawer making sure that the bottle lines are not pinched.
NOTE
Be sure that the bottle connectors are securely plugged in and that the tubing
has not been pinched in the drawer.
Filling the Troughs
1.
Replace or thoroughly rinse the fluid troughs.
2.
Fill each trough with the appropriate fluid as shown below:

(e.g. PBS + .1% BSA)
Markers = Between-well
marker bead cartridge
Decon = Decontamination Solution
Clean = Cleaning Solution
Water = Filtered, distilled water
