2. Getting Started

5. Proceed with the OS installation as directed, being sure to select appropriate device types if

prompted. Refer to the appropriate hardware manuals for specific device types and
compatibility modes of Intel products.

6. When installation is complete, reboot the system and set the boot device order in the

SETUP boot menu appropriately.

7. The Flash Write Protect/Write Enable switch, SW3-2, must be open when installing an

operating system image into flash. See "

SW3-2 (Flash Write Protect)

" in Chapter 3 for more

information.
