For the operation at a four-wire line connect the terminals of the two de-
vices via the line as follows:

Connect terminal 17 (b2) at the originate device with terminal 18 (b1) at the
answer device.
Connect terminal 18 (b1) at the originate device with terminal 17 (b2) at the
answer device.
Connect terminal 19 (a1) at the originate device with terminal 20 (a2) at the
answer device.
Connect terminal 20 (a2) at the originate device with terminal 19 (a1) at the
answer device.
