Bereitschaftslicht
Notleuchte/Stromkreis ist im Netzbetrieb
ausgeschaltet und wird bei Notbetrieb
eingeschaltet.
Betriebsdauertest
Automatisch einstellbarer, aber minde-
stens jährlich manuell auszulösender Test,
um zu prüfen, ob die Batterie die vorge-
gebene
Nennbetriebsdauer (in der
Regel 1h, 3h, oder 8h) erreicht. Abschal-
tung erfolgt automatisch bei Erkennung
des
Tiefentladeschutzes der Batterie.

Blockierung
Dient zur bedarfsweisen Ausschaltung

Einstellung der Funktion im Steuerteil
des Notlichtgerätes:
1. Fernschalter blockiert Dauerlicht (DL):
Verbraucher werden ausgeschaltet, aber
im Notlichtfall automatisch eingeschaltet
2. Fernschalter blockiert Notlicht (NL) und
Dauerlicht (DL): Verbraucher bleiben auch
im Notlichtfall ausgeschaltet (vorschrif-
tenkonforme Einstellung).
Kein Freischalten im Sinne der 5
Sicherheitsregeln!
Controller-Funktion
Überwachung von Unterstationen am

Dynamisches Fluchtwegsystem. In Kom-
bination mit einer Brandmeldeanlage
werden die Fluchtwege dynamisch den
Gegebenheiten angepasst. Rettungszei-
chen werden mit LED-Pfeilen entspre-
chend geschaltet.

B. Glossar
Battery duration test
Test which can be scheduled to be per-
formed automatically, but must be acti-
vated manually at least once a year, to
check whether the battery has the defined
rated operating time (generally 1h, 3h,
or 8h). Disconnection occurs automatically
when the
battery deep discharge pro-
tection is detected.

Blocked
Is used to switch off the consumer unit as
required during normal/mains operation.
Setting the function in the emergency
lighting device controller:
1. Remote switch blocks maintained light-
ing (DL): consumer units are switched off,
but are automatically switched on should
emergency lighting be required
2. Remote switch blocks emergency light-
ing (NL) and maintained lighting (DL):
consumer units remain switched off even
if emergency lighting is required (setting
compliant with regulations).
No disconnection in accordance
with the 5 safety regulations!
Circuit
Circuit where the emergency luminaires
are connected to the emergency light-
ing device. Depending on the device type
there can be different numbers and types
of circuits. The maximum number of lumi-
naires that can be connected is also regu-
lated by the relevant national guidelines.
Circuit monitoring
Monitoring of all connected luminaires
in a
circuit using power comparison
measurement. No clear localisation of the
failure.
Circuit separating module
Power supply for the
circuit comes from
the local sub-distribution board during
standard operation. Is used in tenant areas
for separate consumption measurement.

Monitoring of substations on the main
device controller using the
RTG-BUS
