4.4.1 Keyboard Menu Setup

Press PROG key to enter the “COMM Setup” menu, and Press
PROG key again after the “COMM Setup” option is displayed.
Then press ACK key to select “Ethernet” option and press ACK
to confirm.

Select “Ethernet IP Setup” and press PROG to enter the option.
Configure local IP address and then press NEXT key to select
and configure DVR IP address. Then, configure the relevant
gateway and subnet mask.
After the system is correctly connected and configured, place the
key switch at the OPERATE position, and the LCD on the keyboard
will show the following information:

OFF
If the keyboard and DVR communicate normally, the LCD on the
keyboard will show “@Y”.

Chapter V NVR Control Function
The above sections describe the basic functions and common
operation of the V2117 series keyboards. To enable a V2217
keyboard to control a network video recorders (NVR), realizing the
same control function as that of the front-panel keys of an NVR,
you may set the menu of the V2117 keyboard to enable switch
between common functions and NVR controlling function. For
details of NVR control, please read this section.
5.1 System Setting
Before using a V2117 keyboard to control an NVR, you need to set
the menu of the keyboard.
5.1.1 Enter System Setting Mode
Toggle the Key switch to MENU position, and press F1 key to enter
the first-level menu. The LCD screen displays:

Press PROG key to enter
“System Setup”
menu.

menu has 8 options, from which you may press
NEXT or LAST to choose.

5.1.2 Set Keyboard Menu
1.
Press PROG key to enter the
“COMM Setup”
menu. When
“COMM Select”
is displayed, press PROG key again, press
ACK key and select
“Ethernet”
, and then press PROG key
to confirm.
2.
Choose
“Ethernet”
, press PROG key, set a multicast IP
address, which is 224.0.0.52 by default.
Note:
The IP address should be identical with the multicast IP
address of a network keyboard in the NVR.
5.2 System Connection
Here we take a V2117 keyboard and Infinova V3072-32K as
examples to describe the connection.
Use a network cable to connect the network interface of the
keyboard and the network interface on the rear panel of the
V3072-32K.
The connection is shown as below.
