6.2.12 Activating or deactivating calibration requests
If the option "calibration request” is not active (factory setting), you only get a
calibration request in the following cases:
• A SL3000 sniffer line with a new serial number has been connected.
• The operation mode has been changed via the operating unit and there was no
calibration in the new operation mode within the last 24 hours.
If the option "calibration request" is active, you will get a calibration request
subsequently in the following cases:
• The period of the device is longer than 30 minutes and the temperature deviation
compared to the last calibration is larger than 5 Kelvin.
• There was no calibration within the last 24 hours in the currently selected
operation mode.

request“. To switch off deactivate this option.

6.2.13 Extending or reducing operation options
You can always operate the device via touchscreen. Furthermore, you can change the
factory setting, which enables the operation via buttons on the control panel and via
the remote control.

Under “Local control“ you make your choice in the selection field between:

Released.
The buttons START, Stop and ZERO on the control panel and also the
buttons of the remote control are released. The operation via touchscreen
can be disabled, however, if no user is logged on.
ð
Release after login.
The buttons START, Stop and ZERO on the control panel and also the
buttons of the remote control can be operated after a user has logged in to
the device with a valid PIN.
ð
Locked.
The device can only be operated via the touchscreen. The START, Stop and
ZERO buttons on the control panel are locked. The buttons of the remote
control can also not be used.
