Tighten the nuts on the 4 clamp screws crosswise and in three increasing torque
steps.

Level 1: Tighten the four nuts in the order shown above with an initialization
torque of 3 Nm.
ð
Level 2: Tighten the four nuts in the above sequence to an average torque of
10 Nm.
ð
Level 3: Tighten the four nuts in the sequence shown above to a final torque
of 22 Nm.
5.5 Connecting to the power supply system
DANGER
Danger due to electric shock
Improperly grounded or fused products may be dangerous to life in case of a fault.
The use of the device is not permitted without a connected protective ground
conductor.
► Only use the included 3-wire power cable.
► Replace defective power cables.
► In regions with a power supply of 100 to 120 V with plug type NEMA 5-15 (e.g.
North and Central America, Taiwan and Japan), only the supplied "Hospital-Grade"
power cord may be used.
► If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced with an original "Hospital-Grade" spare
part (INFICON p/n 200000587).
► Note that "Hospital-Grade" power cables are marked with the same lettering and
green dot as the NEMA 5-15 power plug.
► Ensure that the appliance coupler (socket on the power switch) is always easily
accessible. See also "Connections for accessories and control signals [
31]".
► Immediately disconnect the device from the mains in case of visible defects. This
also applies to the development of smoke.
