Orientation
Machines that do not have central lubrication must be lubricated at
the relevant points by hand within certain intervals.
Bearings and bevel gears of the synchronous spindles were factory-filled with
grease and sealed with a seal against ingression of cooling lubricant. This grease
lubrication suffices up to the first regreasing after 200 hours. Afterwards, bearings
and bevel gears of the synchronous spindles must be lubricated with lubricating oil
every 200 operating hours. The oil nipple (X – see sketch) for oil lubrication is on the
side of the synchronous spindle housing.
