5.4 Abhören der Kanäle über einen Kopfhörer
Jeder der Stereo-Eingangskanäle CH 1 – 4 lässt
sich über einen an der Buchse (25) angeschlosse-
nen Kopfhörer abhören, auch wenn der dazuge-
hörige Kanalfader (3) auf Minimum steht. Dadurch
kann z. B. auf einer CD der gewünschte Titel ausge-
wählt oder der richtige Zeitpunkt zum Einblenden
einer Signalquelle abgepasst werden.
Wahlweise ist es auch möglich, das Summen-
signal vor dem Regler MASTER (8) abzuhören.
1) Zum Vorhören eines Eingangskanals die Taste
PFL (7) des Kanals drücken (LED darüber leuch-
tet auf) und den Regler MIX (23) ganz nach links
auf die Position „PFL“ drehen. Gleichzeitig ist
damit das PFL-VU-Meter (9) auf diesen Kanal
geschaltet; der angezeigte Pegel ist jedoch von
der eingestellten Kopfhörerlautstärke abhängig.
2) Zum Abhören des Summensignals den Regler
MIX ganz nach rechts auf die Position „PGM“
(Musikprogramm) drehen.
Steht der Regler MIX zwischen den Positio-
nen „PFL“ und „PGM“ sind das Kanalsignal und
das Summensignal gleichzeitig zu hören.
3) Mit dem Regler LEVEL (24) die gewünschte
Kopfhörerlautstärke einstellen.

5.4 Monitoring the channels via headphones
Each of the stereo input channels CH 1 – 4 can be
monitored via headphones connected to the jack
(25), even if the corresponding channel fader (3) is
set to minimum. This allows e. g. to select the de-
sired title on a CD or to time the right moment for
fading in a signal source.
Alternatively, it is also possible to monitor the
master signal ahead of the control MASTER (8).
1) For prefader listening to an input channel, press
the button PFL (7) of the channel (LED above it
will light up) and set the control MIX (23) to the
left stop, i. e. position “PFL”. Thus, the PFL
VU-meter (9) is also switched to this channel at
the same time; however, the indicated level is
dependent on the headphone volume adjusted.
2) To monitor the master signal, set the control MIX
to the right stop, i. e. position “PGM” (music pro-
gramme).
With the control MIX between the positions
“PFL” and “PGM”, the channel signal and the
master signal can be heard at the same time.
3) Adjust the desired headphone volume with the
control LEVEL (24).
