Start-up delay (dSt)
If the start-up delay is active (dSt > 0), the following conditions apply:
As soon as the flow rate has reached the value 0.5% of the final value (FV)
• the start-up delay starts,
• the output 1 is switched according to the programming: ON with
the NO function (Hno / Fno), OFF with the NC function (Hnc / Fnc).,
• switches output 2 for flow evaluation (
SEL2
=
FLOW
) according to
the programming: ON for NO function (Hno, Fno), OFF for NC
function (Hnc, Fnc).
• The analogue signal is not affected by dSt.
When the start-up delay has started 3 cases are possible:
• Fast increase of flow rate, switch point / acceptable range are
reached within dSt
→
outputs remain active.
• Slow increase of flow rate, switch point / acceptable range are not
reached
→
outputs are reset.
• Flow rate falls below 0.5% during dSt
→
outputs are immediately
reset; dSt is stopped.
Example dSt with hysteresis function:

Flow rate
Q
reaches 0.5% FV
→
dSt starts, the output becomes active.
dSt has elapsed,
Q
has reached SP
→
the output remains active.
Q
falls below SP but remains above rP
→
the output remains active.
Q
falls below rP
→
the output is reset.
Q
reaches 0,5% FV again
→
dSt starts, the output becomes active.
Q
reaches SP
→
the output becomes active.
dSt has elapsed,
Q
has
not
reached SP
→
the output is reset.
