At the same time you can define by means of the
slider bar how many per cent
of the image pixels (referred to the total length of the contour) may be outside the
tolerance band so that the detected contour is still assessed as good during the eval-
uation. If more image pixels are outside the contour it is assessed as bad.
To test the selected settings you can select the setting
in the selection file
and then position your test samples in front of the sensor. Then you can select
the
mode and thus carry out the evaluation for the respective test piece.

If possible, select the test pieces in such a way that the range of the part tolerances occurring
in the process is covered as much as possible.
As a result the contour bands are shown together with the detected actual contours.
The image pixels of an actual contour positioned within the contour band are shown
in light blue.
The image pixels which are outside the corresponding contour band (error pixels) are
shown in red.
For the actual contour with the greatest deviation the percentage of the error pixels
and the resulting evaluation result PASS or FAIL are shown in the display window.
