Figure 2-6: Graphics

The video processor delivers high-resolution true-color graphics. The video processor also

overlays or blends scaled true-color video images on the graphics background.

CRT displays are interfaced to the video processor through a 15-pin VGA connector. TFT

displays are connected to a 40-pin crimp connector that is interfaced to the TTL controller.

The processor is then connected to the video processor.

The video processor is interfaced to the CPU core through a GLIU master/slave interface.

2.4.3.1 VGA Controller

The VGA controller is interfaced through a female 15-pin d-sub VGA connector. The VGA

controller supports video displays up to 1600 x 1200 pixels at 16bits and up to 1280 x

1024 at 24 bits.
