I - INTRODUCTION
After years of success on the digital sound market with the DVP IDT decided to go
further by proposing fully equipped, highly efficient processors taking up a minimum
of space at the best price possible.
The 1U range from IDT has been designed to meet the needs of broadcasters by
proposing powerful processors using Sharc DSPs ® from Analog Devices ®, a
technology which gained the « Cool Stuff Award » award for IDT at the NAB, Las
Vegas in 2000.
This range proposes IU rack processors, thus using a minimum amount of space but
with the power of a rack 3, 4 U or even more!
Thanks to the up-gradable nature of the processors, both hard and software wise,
they are without doubt the most complete and cost-effective solution on the
broadcast market today.
The Digital Encoder Plus @ FM is full digital.
This manual will guide you through the set up of the DEP that you have just
received.
