Part 2 - Configuration
54
Audio
Configure audio recording settings for all cameras
simultaneously.
●
Audio Codec
: Select an audio codec. (G.711 u-Law,
G.711 a-Law, ADPCM 16KHz or G.726)
●
Associated Audio In
: Associates the selected audio
channel with the camera. It is supported by video
encoders only.
●
Audio In
: Select an audio input source (microphone
or line-in) and then adjust the volume. Noise Filter
reduces the environmental noise and enhances the
voice. If you turn on the noise filter, the sound may
be distorted somewhat. We recommend that you do
not use this function in a loud place because it may
degrade performance.
●
Audio Out
: Adjust the volume.
Cameras do not feature built-in audio amplifier units
and therefore require the user to purchase a speaker
system with a built-in amplifier separately.
SD Card
If connection between the camera and NVR fails, the
video will be recorded on SD memory card of the
camera. When the connection is recovered again, the
recorded video on SD memory card will be recorded on
the NVR. For more information on Smart Failover, refer
to the
Smart Failover on page 59.
●
Recycle
: When there is not enough storage available
on SD memory card, the oldest video will be deleted
automatically.
●
Format
: Click on this button to format the inserted
SD card. Formatting the SD card deletes all data saved
on the card.
●
