OPERATION
Automatic
Once automatic operation is selected with
MODE
button on the remote control, (AUTO) appears on the
display. According to the ambient temperature TA, IKARO HW automatically chooses between cooling,
heating and dehumidification.
It is not recommended to use it to achieve comfort, it is preferable to select the mode directly: cooling,
heating or dehumidification
Once selected, the mode does not change when the room temperature changes, however by turning the unit
on and off, the operating mode can be selected again.
Cooling
The cooling temperature setpoint TS can be selected between 16 ° C and 32 ° C with the
SET
button on the
remote control, while the fan speed can be chosen with the
SPEED
key. IKARO HW operates as follows:
•
With manually selected fan speed:
o
TA-TS> 1 ° C: it opens the water valve while the fan runs at the programmed speed.
o
TA = TS: it opens the water valve, while the fan runs at the programmed speed. The previous
status is unchanged.
