TA-TS <-1 ° C: the water valve is closed and the fan runs at low speed.
o
TA-TS <- 2 ° C: The fan stops
Every 5 minutes for 40 seconds the fan is switched on at the minimum speed. If the ambient temperature is still
TA-TS <-2 ° C the fan stops again, otherwise the control routine is resumed again as described above.
•
With AUTO fan speed:
o
TA-TS> 1 ° C: it opens the water valve while the fan runs at maximum speed.
o
TA = TS: it opens the water valve, while the fan runs at medium speed.
o
TA-TS <-1 ° C: the water valve is closed and the fan runs at low speed.
o
TA-TS <-2 ° C: the fan stops.
Every 5 minutes for 40 seconds and the fan is switched on at the minimum speed. If the ambient temperature is
still TA-TS <-2 ° C the fan stops and the device waits for another 5 minutes and so on, otherwise the control
resumes as described above
To avoid excessive speed swings, two minutes pass between high and low speeds.
Dehumidification
In dehumidification the condensate drain hose must be connected, with an ambient temperature, TA,
between 16 ° C and 32 ° C.
•
With manually selected fan speed:
o
TA> TS + 2 ° C: it opens the water valve while the fan runs at minimum speed.
o
TS + 1 ° C <TA <TS + 2 ° C: it opens the water valve, while the fan runs at minimum speed
o
TS-1 ° C <TA <TS + 1 ° C: the previous state remains. At the first start the water valve closes and
the fan rotates at a minimum speed.
o
TA <TS-1 ° C: the valve closes, and after 10 sec the fan stops.
Every 5 minutes for 40 seconds and the fan is switched on at the minimum speed. If the ambient temperature is
still TA-TS <-2 ° C, the fan stops and the device waits for another 5 minutes and so on, otherwise the control
resumes as described above
•
With AUTO fan speed:
o
TA-TS> 2 ° C: it opens the water valve while the fan runs at min speed.
o
TS <TA <TS + 2 ° C: the water valve remains open, while the fan runs at minimum speed.
o
TA <TS: the water valve closes and after 10 sec the fan stops.
Every 5 minutes for 40 seconds and the fan is switched on at the minimum speed. If the ambient temperature is
still TA-TS <-2 ° C the fan stops and the device waits for another 5 minutes and so on, otherwise the control
resumes as described above
Ventilation
In ventilation mode, the fan can rotate at the max speed, med and min, selected by the remote control. There
is no automatic ventilation.
Heating
The TS temperature setpoint can be selected between 16 ° C and 32 ° C by means of the remote control with
the SET button, while the fan speed can be chosen with the SPEED button. IKARO HW operates as follows:
•
With manually selected fan speed:
o
TA-TS <-1 ° C: the water valve opens and the fan runs at the selected speed.
o
TA = TS at the first start opens the valve and the fan runs at the selected speed, otherwise it
maintains the previous state
o
TA-TS> 1 ° C the water valve closes, while the fan continues at minimum speed.
o
TA-TS> 2 ° C, the water valve is closed and the fan stops after 30sec.
Every 5 minutes and for 180 seconds, the fan is switched on at the minimum speed. If the ambient temperature
is still TA-TS> 2 ° C the fan stops and the device waits for another 5 minutes and so on, otherwise the control
resumes as described above.
•
With AUTO fan speed:
o
TA-TS <- 1 ° C: open the water valve while the fan runs at maximum speed.
o
TA = TS the fan runs at medium speed
o
TA-TS> 1 ° C the water valve closes, while the fan runs at minimum speed.
o
TA-TS> 2 ° C: even the fan stops.
