S.M.A.R.T. for Hard Disks
Set this option to ENABLED to permit AMIBIOS to use the S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis
and Reporting Technology). S.M.A.R.T. can help prevent data loss and unscheduled computer
downtime. It provides advance warning of certain types of drive failures, allowing the user of data-
management software to back up the data. The settings are ENABLED or DISABLED. The

BootUp Num-Lock
Set this option to OFF to turn the Num Lock key off when the computer is booted so you can use the
