3. Insert the SIMM into the socket at a 45-degree angle (approximately). Make sure the SIMM is
completely seated in the socket (
Figure 3-4
).
4. Using both hands and applying equal pressure on each end of the module, push the module
forward until it clicks. This locks the SIMM into position. The pegs of the socket should be
in the alignment holes of the SIMM.

Installing the CPU and Fan
The SB586T series supports 100 to 300MHz processors. Model numbers ending with -166X,
-200X, -233X, and -300 support MMX or 3DNow! technology.
SB586T boards are delivered with a CPU and a heatsink fan assembly. If you are installing a new
CPU, ICS Advent recommends that you also use a heatsink fan assembly.
