Transparent Data Transmission
Application Mode
Transparent Mode is suitable for most applications in the transparent data
transmission. In this mode, the raw data transmitted from ZigBee coordinator
will be broadcasting to every ZigBee routers. The data responded by ZigBee
router will only be sent to ZigBee coordinator via unicasting.
Unless there are particular purposes, Transparent Mode can be set-up in most
applications. The only drawback is that the data throughput of ZigBee network
will be reduced with the number of ZigBee routers in the ZigBee network
increased, in order to ensure data transmitted to every ZigBee nodes so that the
transfer time will be much longer than using unicast frame.
