To Read/Write the status of the DIO Channels
The states of the DIO channels on the ZT-20xx-IOG module are temporarily saved in the
mapped field (Modbus Register) on the ZT-257x module. This means that the host only needs
to perform a single action in order to remotely read and write data from multiple DIO
channels on the ZT-20xx-IOG module via the ZT-257x module using the Modbus RTU
(RS-232/RS-485) or Modbus TCP (Ethernet) protocol. See Section
more details.
Using the
ZT-2055-IOG
module (8 DI and 8 DO channels) as an example,
(a)
If the
Channel Offset (DI)
value is set to
“0”
:
The status of DI Channels 0-7 on the ZT-2055-IOG module will be recorded
on Channels 0-7 on the ZT-257x module.
(b)
If the
Channel Offset (DI)
value is set to
“
128
”
:
The status of DI Channels 0-7 on the ZT-2055-IOG module will be recorded
on Channels 128-135 on the ZT-257x module.
(c)
If the
Channel Offset (DO)
value is set to
“0”
:
The data from DO Channels 0-7 on the ZT-2570 module will be transmitted
to DO Channels 0-7 on the ZT-2055-IOG module.
(d)
If the
Channel Offset (DO)
value is set to
“
48
”
:
The data from DO Channels 48-55 on the ZT-2570 module will be
transmitted to DO Channels 0-7 on the ZT-2055-IOG module.
