Setting the Channel Offset (DI/DO)
When using the ZT-257x module as a DIO data concentrator, the mapping for the I/O
channels must first be configured. To configure the mapping, follow the procedure described
below:

Channel Limits

A maximum of

virtual/logical digital channels can be accessed on a
single ZigBee network.

Channel Mapping
: Each virtual/logical digital channel only can be mapped to either a
singe DI or DO channel on the ZT-2000-IOG module.

If both the DI and the DO channels are assigned to a single logical channel field, i.e., the
Modbus Register, they will be treated in the same way as if the I/O Pair-connection
function was being used.

If a DI channel is not physically wired, the channel will be regarded as being unused and
so the status of the channel will not be updated.

It is recommended that the addresses for the DI or DO channels be configured as
consecutive addresses so that the external host only needs to read or write data once, as
illustrated in the figure below.
