Set the details of TOS (Type-Of-Service) function.
Place the mouse pointer on �Connection setting,�� then on �VoIP call detail,�� and then
click �Common setting�� shown on the list.

TOS ������:
Set the TOS (Type-Of Service) function.
(Default: TOS)
• Not use : Turn OFF the TOS function.
• TOS
: Send the VoIP packets to the TOS field (8 bits) in the IP header in the TOS format.
• Diffserv : Send the VoIP packets to the TOS field (8 bits) in the IP header in the Diffserv (Dif-
ferentiated Service) format.

Set the priority level for sent VoIP packets.
• Priority: Set the TOS priority value.
(Default: 7)
(Select range: 0 to 7, 7 is the highest priority.)
• Service type: Set the TOS service type field value.
(Default: 0)
(Select range: 0 to 15)
• DSCP: Set the DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) value.
(Default: 56)
(Select range: 0 to 63)

TOS is composed by 8 bits as follows:
1-3 bit
: Priority value (Default: 111)
4-7 bit
: Service type (Default: 0000)
8 bit
: Not used (Fixed to �0��)
Default (1-8 bits) : 11100000 (Binary numeral), E0 (Hexadecimal numeral)
