The ICARUS M2 - Repetier Host and Slic3r Settings
The standard settings when you first install Repetier Host are adequate for a standard
Mendel I2. However, the ICARUS M2 is a bit different from the Mendel. A few settings
need to be tweaked for optimal performance. We strongly advise you to setup the
printing settings according to this manual.
We do not accept any liability for damage caused by faulty settings and do not replace
devices that have been clearly used with wrong settings.
Important Repetier Host settings :
Printer Settings :
In the tab “printer”, make sure the temperatures are set correctly for the type of
filament you are using. Setting these temperatures to high might cause damage to the
printer.
Absolute maximum for the heated bed are 125°C and the extruder at 250°C.
Setting temperatures beyond these limits will void your warranty !
In the tab “printer type” you need to adjust the working area of the printer. To protect
the novice user we recommend the following settings :
