4.6.7 Image Sensor Settings
You can change the sensitivity for judgment of contamination level of the image sensor unit and
timing of white level reduction warning.
NOTICE:
If you change the sensitivity for judgment of contamination level, images may
have lines vertically without warning.
Manage settings corresponding to your scanning operation.
1. In the Menu Window, select the [Image Sensor Settings] and click the [Execute]. The Image
Sensor Settings window is displayed.
In the window, sensitivity for judgement of contamination level and white level reduction
warning timing are displayed.
2. To change the sensitivity for judgement of contamination level, select the sensitivity setting
from the menu.

Normal : Normal sensitivity (recommended)
•
Sensitivity 1-3 : Lower sensitivity (the larger the number, the lower the sensitivity
becomes)

Do not report: The warning message will not be displayed.
3. To change the timing of white level reduction warning, check box to allow updating
corresponding settings.
White level reduction warning indicates exceeding product lifetime or malfunction. When it is
displayed, contact the service personnel.
4. Click the [Execute] to update the setting.
5. Click the [End] to return to the Menu Window.
