Parallel port
The server has one parallel port. The 25-pin connector of the parallel port provides
one IEEE 1284-compatible 25-pin bi-directional EPP. BIOS programming of the Super
I/O registers enables the parallel port and determines the port address and interrupt.
When disabled, the interrupt is available to add-in boards.
The following table shows the pin-number assignments for the parallel connector on
the system board.
Serial ports
The server has two standard serial (communication) ports: serial port A and serial
port B.
The following table shows the pin-number assignments for the serial-port connector
on the system board. These pin-number assignments conform to the industry
standard.
