1.
Review
the
information
in
“Before
you
begin”
on

39,
“Handling
static-sensitive
devices”
on
page
40,
and
“Safety
information”
on
page
167.
2.
Turn
off
the
server
and
peripheral
devices
and
disconnect
all
power
cords
and
external
cables.
3.
If
your
server
is
a
tower
model,
continue
with
the
next
step.
If
your
server
is
a
rack
model
and
you
have
already
installed
the
server
in
a
rack
enclosure,
you
must
disconnect
the
cable-management-arm
bracket
from
the
server.

Disconnect
the
cable-management-arm
bracket
from
the
server.

Slide
the
tab

server
out
of

rack
enclosure
until
it
locks
into
place.
4.
Remove
the
top
cover
(see
“Removing
the
top
cover
(all
models)”
on
page
49).
5.
Remove
the
air
baffle:
a.
Pull
out
the
two
plastic
fasteners
on
the
front
of
the
air
baffle.
Note:
Do
not
remove
the
fasteners
from
the
air
baffle.
