b) If your system has a second system processor module, repeat step “24.a” on page 52 to remove
the other TIM.
25. Remove the system processor module or modules:
a) Open the packaging of the system processor module tray. Remove the tray cover and set it aside.
Place the system processor module tray on a solid surface.
b) Using the supplied removal tool, align the tool over the system processor module on the system
backplane as shown in the second figure.
c) Ensure that the removal tool (A) is in the open position as shown in the following figure. The
middle pin (B) must be pushed down and blue tabs (C) must be turned inward.
