Disconnect the power cords (B) from the system unit. See Figure 49 on page 60, Figure 50 on page 60,
or Figure 51 on page 61 or depending on the type of your system.

This system might be equipped with two or more power supplies. If the removing and replacing
procedures require the power to be off, then ensure that all the power sources to the system have
been completely disconnected.

The power cord is fastened to the system using the hook-and-loop fastener (A). If you are placing
the system in a service position after disconnecting the power cords, then ensure that you unstrap
the fastener.
Figure 46 shows the supported alternate current (AC) and high voltage direct current (HVDC)
connectors.Figure 47 and Figure 48 show the supported connectors and power distribution unit (PDU)
for 8408-44E.
