Byte 1, Logical Volume Address.:

The address the channel program is using.

Byte 2, Number of Logical Volumes with Statistics:

The number of logical

volumes in the subsystem accessible from the channel minus one. The value of
byte 2 ranges from x'00' to x'FF' to describe 1 to 256 logical volumes.

Byte 3, Number of Statistic Sets per Logical Volume:

The number of statistics

sets provided per addressable logical volume.

Byte 6 –7, Size of Statistics Record per Logical Volume:

The number of bytes

in each statistics set. Internal Disk sends 192 bytes in each statistics set.

Byte 10 – 13, Installed Cache Capacity in Bytes:

The number of bytes that

have been configured for the Internal Disk Subsystem cache.
