Introduction
The
IBM

BladeCenter
®
LS22
Type
7901
and
LS42
Type
7902
blade
servers
are
compatible
with
IBM
BladeCenter
units.
These
high-density,
high-performance
blade
servers
are
ideally
suited
for
networking
environments
that
require
superior
microprocessor
performance,
efficient
memory
management,
flexibility,
and
reliable
data
storage.
Note:
Unless
otherwise
stated,
references
to
the
BladeCenter
unit
apply
to
any
IBM
BladeCenter
units.
This
Installation
and
User’s
Guide
provides
information
about:

Packaged

this

are
software

Important:
Some
blade
server
models
include
an
expansion-card
bracket
in
a
separate
package.
The
expansion-card
bracket
is
used
when
you
install
a
standard-form-factor
expansion
card
(see
“Installing
a
standard-form-factor
expansion
card”
on
page
42).
If
the
expansion-card
bracket
does
not
have
to
be
installed,
save
it
in
a
safe
place.
The
blade
server
comes
with
a
limited
warranty.
For

the

assistance,

Support
Information
document
for
your
blade
server
on
the

Documentation

You
