Install your operating system and application programs.

Follow the instructions that come with these manuals and
diskettes.

If you installed OS/2, do the following to install the Power
Management Device Driver program.

a. Insert the backup copy of the Reference Diskette into the

drive.

b. At the OS/2 prompt, type A:PMNGINST and press Enter.

c. If the installation was successfully completed, remove the

backup copy of the Reference Diskette.

d. Press Ctrl +Alt +Delete to restart the system.

If you use the EMS memory under DOS 4.00, install the EMS
memory manager. The instructions are provided in Appendix C.
"Installing the EMS Memory Manager" on page 95.

If you install the Microsoft" Windows V3.0, change the line,

device=C:\himem.sys

, of CONFIG.SYS file to

device=C:\himem.sys /M:2

during the installation. After the

installation, add a line,

EMMEXCLUDE=E000-EFFF

, to

SYSTEM.INI file.
