Meaning:
Action:
The computer detected an error during the self-test. The
cause of the error is one of the following.
•
There is a problem with the computer.
•
The computer configuration is not set correctly with
the backup copy of the Reference Diskette.
Insert the backup copy of the Reference Diskette into
the diskette drive and press F1. Follow the instructions
on the screen. If the instructions do not remove the
error prompt, have the computer serviced.
Diskette and F1 Prompts
Meaning:
Action:
There is no operating system installed on the fixed disk
(hard disk). Or no diskette or an unreadable diskette is in
the diskette drive. When the computer is turned on, it
tries to read from one of these two sources.
Insert a diskette with your operating system on it into the
diskette drive and press F1 to start the diskette.
