To
effectively
manage
the
cables
on
this
server,
keep
groups
of
cables
secured
together,
and
do
not
run
cables
across
the
back
of
the
server.
Use
cable
ties
to
bundle
similar
cables
together.
Use
hook-and-loop
fasteners
to
secure
the
cable
bundles
to
the
vertical
rails
of
the
rack
cabinet.
Attention:
Do
not
secure
cables
too
tightly.
Overtightening
can
cause
internal
damage
to
the
cables.

Expansion
Port
cabling
Depending
upon
your
configuration,
there
are
either
three
or
six
SMP
Expansion
Ports
located
on
the
back
of
the
server.
The
cabling
information
in
this
section
is
for
configurations
using
up
to
four
SMP
Expansion
Modules
in
two
servers.
Configurations
that
use
only
one
SMP
Expansion
Module
have
three
SMP
Expansion
Ports
and
do
not
require
any
SMP
Expansion
Port
cabling.
