4. If your server comes with a support bracket that has a fan and a fan bracket

attachment that looks like the bracket in the following illustration, complete the
following steps:

a. Disconnect the fan cable from the fan connector on the system board before

removing the support bracket.

b. Pull out on the rear end of the support bracket at a 45° angle.

c. Disengage the front end of the support bracket from the server and set the

bracket aside.

To reinstall the support bracket, reverse the previous steps for your server.
