Specifying ATM Addresses to be Accepted
The ATM address can be validated on either the full ATM address (19 bytes) or just the ESI portion (bytes
14 through 19) of the address, and can be set at either the 8265 or individual port level.
To set the validation to be done on the network prefix, enter the following command:

where any specifies that the address is to be accepted for all ports in the 8265, and

Note: You should not have both a full ATM address and ESI address authorized for the same range
(either any port or a specific port) when the full ATM address contains the same ESI address as
the ESI address specified by the SET SECURITY ESI_ADDRESS command. This may cause a
rejection of one of the addresses.
Removing ATM Addresses
You can remove either a single ATM address or all ATM addresses from the list of authorized addresses
by entering the following command:
