flow

ensure
proper
cooling,
place
the
unit
so
that
the
cooling
fan
exits
at
the
rear

the
unit
and
the
air
inlet
holes

front
of
the
unit
have
sufficient
clearance
to
ensure
airflow.

removal
or
installation

a
storage
device.

Before
performing

procedure,
ensure
that
there

no
activity

SCSI
bus
or
operations
being
performed
by
the
installed
devices.
Turning
off
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure
during
activity
on
the
bus
could
result
in
loss
of
data.
1.
Remove
any
media
from
the
installed
devices.
2.
Turn
off
the
power
to
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure.
3.
Remove
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure
from
the
host
system
configuration
(follow
the
procedure
in
the

and

DANGER
To
prevent
a
possible
electrical
shock
when
installing
the
device,
ensure

power
cord
for

device
is
unplugged
