screws
(two

each
side

on
the
back

that
secure
the
top
cover
of
the
enclosure
to
the
chassis.
Lift
the
rear
of
the
cover
and
slide
it
back
and
away
to
remove
it.
Set
the
cover
and
screws
aside
for
replacement
later.
The

install
the
cover,
reverse
this
procedure.

a
Storage
Device
from
the
Enclosure

Prepare
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure
for
device
removal
by
following
the
procedure
in
“Removing
and
Replacing
the
Cover”
on
page
28.
2.
Determine
which
device
is
to
be
removed
from
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure.
Note
the
locations
of
any
cables
that
are
attached
to
the
selected
device.
Note
the
locations
of
the
device
mounting
brackets
(see
1
in
Figure
10
on
page
30)
and
screws.
3.
Disconnect
the
power
cable,
SCSI
cable,
SCSI
address
cable,
and
(if
the
device
is
a
CD
or
DVD)
the
audio
cable.
4.
Remove
the
two
mounting
screws
that
secure
the
two
device
mounting
brackets
(see
1
in
Figure
9
on
page
30)
to
the
bottom
of
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure.
