Note:
If this LED is off, it does not mean that no electrical power is present. The
LED might be burned out. To remove all electrical power, you must remove the
system-board tray from the chassis, remove the chassis from the rack, or
disconnect the power cord from the power source.
Hot-swap hard disk drive activity LED:
In some configurations, each hot-swap
hard disk drive has an activity LED. When this LED is flashing, it indicates that the
drive is in use.
Hot-swap hard disk drive status LED:
In some configurations, each hot-swap
hard disk drive has a status LED. When this LED is lit, it indicates that the drive has
failed.
Rear connectors
Power-cord connector:
Connect the power cord to this connector. When the
chassis is installed in an iDataPlex rack, it is automatically connected to power
through a power cord that is mounted to the rack rail.
