Chapter 6          Maintenance 

This chapter describes the entire switch maintenance configuration tasks to enhance the performance of local network 
including restart Device, Firmware upgrade, Save/Restore, and Import/Export. 

 

Restart Device 

This section describes how to perform a system restart for any maintenance needs. Any configuration files or scripts that 
have been saved in the switch will still be available after the restart. 
To perform a Restart of the device from the web interface: 

 

Click Maintenance / Restart Device 

 

Select the check box Force Cool Restart to force a cool restart. 

 

Click ‘Yes’ to perform the restart or No to cancel the restart. 

 

 

 

Reboot Schedule 

The Switch can be scheduled for regular reboot for maintenance reasons. Once Enabled is selected from the Mode drop 
down box the schedule form will openi3admin

Click Maintenance / Reboot Schedule 

 

Set Mode to Enabled and set the time for rebooting by day and time for that day. 

 

Click Apply to save the settings or reset to cancel them.
