Make sure that the side stand
ignition interlock system is
working properly before riding.
Park the motorcycle on
firm, level ground to help
prevent it from falling over.
To adjust the spring pre-load,
turn the adjuster clockwise or
count- er-clockwise to the
desired position with the pin
spanner.
Position 1 provides the softest
spring pre-load and position 5
pro- vides the stiffest.
The motorcycle is delivered
from the factory with its
adjuster set on position 1.
Unequal
suspension
adjustment can cause poor
handling and loss of stability.
Adjust the right and left
shock absorber to the same
settings.
