5. Maintenance
5.1 Lubrication
The machine should be cleaned and lubricated every eight (8) operation hours. Retract the
dies to lubricate. use a small brush to lubricate the cone-like surfaces in the cylinder. It is
better to lubricate sparingly and more often than seldom and excessively. Without lubrica -
tion, the machine looses power and can damage the gliding surfaces.
Use only the lubrication recommended by Hydroscand Machine AB:

5.2 Changing the oil and filter
The oil should be changed once yearly. Retract the dies completely to change the oil. Tap out
the old oil by opening the oil plug in the bottom of the tank and siphon the oil out through
the oil filling hole. Change the filter every time the oil is changed. Fill the new oil to the mark
on the measurement stick (see photo 1). Loosen the filter lid screws (see photo 2), lift the
filter (see photo 3) and change. Use only the oil recommended by Hydroscand Machine AB:
