Batteries
Approved battery packs
Internally, the Hydro-Logic
®
Flexi Logger 100 can have either an Alkaline or a
Lithium battery pack. The Lithium pack has 4x the capacity of the Alkaline pack
and will provide much longer life.
The Lithium pack is part number
PDA1100.3000
, 3.9V, 64Ah.
The Alkaline pack is part number
PDA1100.3005,
6V 16Ah.
ONLY batteries supplied by Hydro International are certified for use with the
Hydro-Logic
®
Flexi Logger 100.
The use of any other non-approved batteries or
battery pack will void the product warranty.
Replacement batteries can only be obtained from Hydro International and
approved distributors.
Storing the logger
Store the Hydro-Logic
®
Flexi Logger 100
with a battery fitted.
This must be
done to prevent internal components from becoming entirely discharged and
causing permanent damage.
Replacing the Battery
This work must be undertaken in a dry, dust-free environment.
To change the battery of the Hydro-Logic
®
Flexi Logger 100:
•
Remove the access cap by unscrewing the 3 seal screws that secure the
cap. Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
•
Gently draw the circuit board and battery out of the logger body about
20mm.
•
Gently pull out the battery connector and remove the wire from the cut-out
on the board.
