H-40 DDF SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

FEED FORCE V. SETUP
1.
Turn Feed Force valve counter clockwise till it stops. (use ALLAN HEX key 3/16)
2.
Move machine head up half way.
3.
Switch selector switch to down.
4.
Open Feed Rate valve to maximum.
5.
Turn Feed Force valve clockwise till head stops moving.(Use available feed rate display)
6.
Turn Feed Force valve counter clockwise till feed rate display shows ~3-3.5”/min.
7.
Lock the Feed Force valve with a jam nut.
FEED RATE SETUP
1.
Close Feed Rate valve and lock the pointer at the position indicating the minimum feed rate.
