BLADE GUIDE ADJUSTMENT
Each guide arm is provided with a set of blade guides.
Both sets are identical. Each set consists of a top carbide,
fixed (rear) carbide pad and adjustable (front) carbide pad.
To adjust the front pad, lossen the set screw (1) shown. With
the locking handle in the locked position, use a large flat
screw driver to turn the loader bolt (2) clockwise until tight
and then loosen it approximately 1/8 of a turn. Tighten the
set screw (1).
Blade guides seldom need replacement, but they are available through
your Hyd-Mech dealer. Shown are the 2 5/8" blade guides on the left and
the 3" blade guides on the right.
