OPERATING
•
Install and tighten blade shaft bolt and plain washer using
the blade shaft wrench while firmly holding the blade.
•
Lower the saw by pushing the Raise/lower switch on the
speed control lever downwards until the blade touches the
surface to be cut.
•
Tighten the blade shaft bolt firmly using the blade shaft
wrench while resistance between diamond blade and
ground helps to achieve proper and final tightening.
•
Lower blade guard front and position the blade guard latch
on the blade guard front bolt. Tighten the blade guard front
bolt.
•
Test run the machine and check that no unusual sounds
occur. Unusual sounds are a sign of an incorrectly
mounted blade.
Install the blade guard 36”-42”
Slip on blade guards are secured with a blade guard lock
which engages the rear half of the blade guard.
Do not operate this saw without the lock engaged. Inspect
blade guards and locks frequently. Do not use if damaged.
Lower the guard onto the support spades and use moderate
force to press down the blade guard until lock engages.

Remove the blade guard 36”-42”

Disconnect the water hose from the blade guard.
!
CAUTION! The touch should be smooth to
prevent damaging the blade. Use Saw
lowering speed control knob to slow down
the lowering speed. Never let the front
weight of the machine be supported by the
blade since this will damage the blade.
