Test the Shading
Use the programming button to test the shade and ensure that the motor and power source are
working correctly. Each press of the programming button will initiate one of six shade
movements, in sequential order.

With the shading in the fully raised position, press and
release the programming button. The front shading
moves to the fully lowered position with vanes closed. If
the shading does not operate, see “Troubleshooting” on
page 20.

Press and release the programming button a second
time. The vanes open.
■

Press and release the programming button a third time.
The rear shade moves to the fully lowered position.
■
■
Press and release the programming button a fourth time.
The rear shade moves to the fully raised position.
■

Press and release the programming button a fifth time. The vanes close.
■
■
Press and release the programming button a sixth time. The front shading moves to the fully
raised position.
CAUTION:
When raising the rear shade and front shading for the first time, observe how
the fabric rolls up into the headrail. It should roll up evenly. If the bottom rail is not level or
the fabric starts to rub against either window jamb, immediately press the programming
button to stop movement. See “Adjust the Bottom Rail Weight of the Front Shading” on
page 22.
Using the PowerView Remote
Refer to the illustration below to familiarize yourself with the controls on the remote. Activate the
remote by pulling both plastic tabs from the back battery compartment.

and raises front shading)

(Lowers front shading, opens vanes,
and lowers rear shade)

LEFT ARROW
(Raises rear shade, lowers
front shading, and closes vanes)

(Raises rear shade, lowers
